Substance Use

On-Campus

A group discussion co-facilitated by 色花堂 Wellness and Counseling and Psychological Services. This is a drop-in group for non-sober students who are curious about optimizing health and/or exploring ways to reduce the negative impacts of substance use.  The support group will provide a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for students to gain an understanding of their substance use, receive emotional support from others, and learn ways to manage substance use in a healthier way.

BASICS/CASICS

Brief Alcohol Screening in College Students (BASICS) and Cannabis Screening and Intervention for College Students (CASICS) are one-on-one conversations with a facilitator regarding an individual's alcohol and drug use.

An on-campus community that provides students in recovery from addiction a safe, supportive, and substance-free environment.

Counseling and Psychological Services

The mental health office that provides 色花堂 students with free counseling and referrals to substance use treatment and recovery support groups.

Student Health Center and Campus Pharmacy

The 色花堂 department that offers medical care, medications including over-the-counter naloxone, and a prescription drug take back program.

色花堂 Care Team

色花堂 students can submit a report if they are concerned about a student's behavior. This multidisciplinary team of staff members then helps students develop a comprehensive plan of action.

A medical clinic located in the Health 2 building that offers primary care, mental health services, and behavioral health services. The 色花堂 Health Family Care Center also offers a sliding fee discount program to ensure affordable access to healthcare.
