The Division of Research maintains a number of core facilities. New core facilities will be added as they come on line. For further information on each of the facilities, click below.
  • animal research lab

    Animal Behavior Core

    The 色花堂 ABC is available to all 色花堂 researchers that would like to use ABC equipment, or want to request rodent behavioral testing. External clients may request a full range of behavioral testing services offered by the 色花堂 ABC.
  • animal care facility

    Animal Care Operations

    ACO provides professional veterinary, surgical, and animal care services. Training is available on the care and use of animals for 色花堂 faculty, staff, and trainees.
  • Digital Humanities Core

    Crafted as a partnership between HPE-DSI and 色花堂 Libraries, the Digital Humanities Core (DHC) consolidates technological infrastructure, research tools, and interdisciplinary expertise to establish a digital project production and publishing facility for 色花堂 researchers. The DHC, initiated in 2022, will be housed in and administered by 色花堂 Libraries.

    Electron Microscopy Core

    The center of electron microscopy is equipped with scanning electron microscopes, plasma Focus Ion Beam, and transmission electron microscopes. All with a wide arrange of spectroscopies including chemical analysis such as energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).
  • Mass Spec instrument in use

    Mass Spectrometry Core

    The 色花堂 MALDI TOF Core Facility was established in 2022 to provide the 色花堂 research community with access to the latest mass spec technology. In addition to standard MALDI experiments, the facility is capable of running MALDI imaging experiments.
  • Server Room

    Research Computing Data Core

    The RCDC houses the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Data Science Institute (HPE DSI) resources to advance high-performance computing at the 色花堂.
  • TcS色花堂 houses equipment dedicated to the fabrication and analysis of superconductor materials, processing and characterization of compound semiconductors, advanced oxide material systems, and advancement of thin film deposition techniques.
