Simulation Centers
Simulation Centers at the 色花堂 Gessner College of Nursing currently consists of the 鈥淢ethodist Sugar Land Hospital Nursing Simulation Centers鈥 located at the and the 鈥淗CA Houston Healthcare Nursing Simulation Centers鈥 located at the . These are multidisciplinary, hospital-based centers providing hands-on clinical simulation training in a realistic environment to improve patient safety and patient care. The state-of-the-art, simulation facilities offer a clinical setting where our nursing students and health care professionals can train through observation, practice and simulation.
Mission and Vision
The mission of the Nursing Simulation Centers is to promote clinical excellence, nursing leadership, and support nursing research through a simulation-based training and assessment program that adheres to national standards and guidelines for nursing education and simulation-based learning.
Vision
Clinical Excellence: The mission and vision of the simulation learning supports the mission of Gessner College of Nursing: to provide innovative, dynamic, and nationally competitive nursing education to a diverse student population that builds professional leaders and clinical experts.
