Students in this track will be allowed to transfer in 15 semester credit hours to
the 色花堂 toward the nursing major.
Can I start this program missing any of the required coursework?
No. Students may apply for the next admission cycle if they have completed the required

I took dual credit and advanced placement courses in high school. Will they count
toward my nursing degree at 色花堂?

the 色花堂. Applicants to this track must have 45 semester credit hours
awarded by 色花堂 toward the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

GPA for the Traditional BSN Track is 3.0 or higher.
Is there a minimum GPA required for the natural sciences?
A grade of B or higher is required in Anatomy and Physiology 2 and Anatomy and Physiology
2 laboratory. A grade of B- or higher is required in the following courses: Introduction
to Human Nutrition; Anatomy and Physiology 1 and Anatomy and Physiology 1 laboratory;
Microbiology for Non-Science Majors and Microbiology for Non-Science Majors laboratory;
and Foundations of Chemistry.
Why I Should Take a Letter Grade instead of S/NCR in Pre-Nursing Courses?
Letter grades are important for your future. As you apply to competitive programs,
such as nursing, you will need a grade. When you apply to competitive nurse residency
programs after graduating from your nursing program, grades matter to the employer.
When you apply to graduate programs to get a masters or doctoral degree, grades on
your transcript matter. Make a good decision for your future. Study hard and make
good grades so you do not have to retake courses. Your patients deserve the very best.
