Equal Opportunity (EO) Statements
The following Equal Opportunity statement should be used in all É«»¨Ìà brochures and advertisements:
The É«»¨Ìà provides equal treatment and opportunity to all persons without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including gender and pregnancy), genetic information, age (over 40), disability, military status, sexual orientation, gender identity or status, gender expression, or any other legally protected status except where such distinction is required by law.
The following short version of the Equal Opportunity statement can be used in place of the longer version in all small brochures and advertisements:

Islander-serving institution with an enrollment of more than 47,000 students.

The É«»¨Ìà System (É«»¨ÌÃS) is the region’s largest provider of comprehensive
university services, serving more than 72,000 students annually and producing a $7-billion

– the É«»¨ÌÃ, É«»¨ÌÃ-Clear Lake, É«»¨ÌÃ-Downtown,
