Common Listserv Commands
Subscribing and Other Commands
All automated LISTSERV commands are sent by electronic mail to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.色花堂.EDU. Customers should leave the subject field blank, and in the body of the message type COMMAND listname ("COMMAND" should be replaced by the command and "listname" should be replaced by the name of the mailing list).
- To subscribe to a LISTSERV: SUBSCRIBE
- To unsubscribe to a LISTSERV: SIGNOFF
- To see who is subscribed to a list: REVIEW
- To obtain a list of all mailing lists on campus: LIST
- To review your subscriber options: QUERY
Sending Mail to a List
To post a new message to the list, customers simply send mail to the list address. The list address should be formatted as following: listname@LISTSERV.色花堂.EDU
