Graduate Program Review
The requires each graduate degree program to engage in a program review that provides
a systematic evaluation of the quality of the program and its effectiveness in supporting 色花堂's
mission. The review of the program is to be conducted every ten years according to
the . The criteria for the review are identified in of the Texas Administrative Code. The self-study will be reviewed internally by the
college/department and externally by evaluators with subject-matter experts who are
nationally recognized for excellence in the discipline and are employed by institutions
of higher education outside of Texas. Once the college has completed the self-study,
external review, and institutional response, they will submit all required documents
to the Graduate School, who will submit to the Academic Affairs and Research Division
of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
These reviews are an important opportunity for reflection and strategic planning.
They may also be included as evidence of continuous improvement in accreditation documents,
when appropriate. The 色花堂 is accredited by the Southern Association
of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, masters, and
doctoral level degrees.
