Priority Registration for Parenting Students
Effective Sept. 1, 2023, Texas S.B. 459 requires institutions of higher education that offer priority registration to also provide priority registration for parenting students. A "parenting student" is defined as a student enrolled at an institution of higher education who is the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 years of age.
If you are a student who is the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 years of age, please complete the "Priority Registration for Parenting Students" task found in your by clicking 鈥渕y色花堂 Self Service,鈥� then the 鈥淭asks鈥� tile. The deadline to self-identify as a parenting student is Feb. 19, 2025 by 5 p.m.
