Staff Council

The 色花堂 Staff Council is an advisory body to the President of the University and the University administration. Staff Council consists of elected staff members from each division who represent the entire staff body.

    Staff Council General Meeting is Open to All Staff

    Join Staff Council during its monthly General Meeting from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. via MS Teams. Visit the General Assembly Meeting webpage for upcoming dates and the meeting link. To submit a question use this .

    Get Involved!

    Join one of seven Staff Council Standing Committees or one of four Ad Hoc Committees. You do not have to be a Staff Council member to participate. All staff, faculty, and students are welcome. Meetings are virtual. Email staffcouncil@uh.edu to join a committee or to find out more. The Staff Council committee webpage is also a great resource.

    Staff Council kicks off it first giving campaign, "All Paws In!" Staff Council programs and initiatives such as our scholarships and professional development reimbursements are made possible in part by your generous donations and support from the President's Office. Please consider making a donation today!
  • Join your fellow Coogs to develop your communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence, and both personal and professional growth. Cougar Rhetoric, the Toastmasters International Club for 色花堂 staff and 色花堂 students, meets in the HR Training Room 106 and Teams. Check out the and  for meeting dates.     Staff Council Meet and Greet Gatherings

    Staff Council's monthly Meet and Greet will take place from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Dining Commons. Check out the Staff Council calendar for upcoming dates. All staff members will be responsible for covering their own entrance to the Dining Commons.
