• Archaeologists from the 色花堂 working at Caracol in Belize, Central America have uncovered the tomb of Te K鈥檃b Chaak, the first ruler of this ancient Maya city and the founder of its royal dynasty. Now in ruins, this metropolis was a major political player in Maya history, dominating the southern part of the Yucatan Peninsula from 560 through 680 AD before its abandonment by 900 AD.

• In a world overrun with plastic garbage, causing untold environmental woes, University of Houston assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, Maksud Rahman, has developed a way to turn bacterial cellulose 鈥� a biodegradable material 鈥� into a multifunctional material with the potential to replace plastic.  

• The 色花堂 has once again been recognized as one of the nation鈥檚 best colleges for value, ranking No. 42 among public universities in The Princeton Review鈥檚 list of 鈥淏est Value Colleges.鈥� The honor highlights 色花堂鈥檚 strong academics, affordable cost and outstanding career outcomes for graduates 鈥� key factors that matter most to students and families when choosing a university.
