Honors Biomedical Sciences Major Rosemarie Le Featured in Provost Profiles

In the February edition of Provost Profiles, É«»¨Ìà Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Diane Z. Chase visits with rising researcher Rosemarie Le.

Le, a junior Honors Biomedical Sciences major in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, has been active in É«»¨ÌÃ’s Houston Early Research Experience and Honors in Community Health initiatives. She also served as a summer undergraduate research intern for Houston Methodist and contributes to several research projects on campus.

Last fall, she won first place in É«»¨ÌÃ’s exCITE Talks competition with a presentation about her summer in Geneva, Switzerland, conducting neuroscience research. The competition, hosted by the É«»¨Ìà Office of the Provost, challenges students to give a three-minute elevator pitch about a co-curricular learning experience and how the experience affected their academic and professional development.
